The American Pit Terrier

Every year, year in, year out people in New Mexico read stories in the paper just like this one. The only variations are the age or sex of the victim. The ones that have the worst time of it are the kids. The grown man was brought to the ground by a pair of these killers. At least one kid dies here every year because of them. Yet because of the stupidity of local officials and state government it will continue as it always has. I can hear that ladies voice in my head. Their not mean. Their not dangerous. Despite the fact that they just tried to kill a person. She just love her babies. Well its not just pit bulls they cry. And they are right. I can remember one case in my life that it wasn't a pit bull. It was a half lab half rotie. But there is a big difference between one and 6-10 per year. Its my opinion that pit bulls should be killed. All of them. Right now. Hell I'll pay for the bullets. When I moved into my neiborhood there were two houses with pits. One was loose and we called the Dog catcher. He was afraid of the dog. Refused to even try to get it. My dad got it for him. A .223 at about 40 yards. Over the years we got the rest of them also. Legally, one at a time. Our Govt's fix for the problem. Taxing people who own dangerous dogs, yes they are democrats. They call it something else. Now the govt' has more money, we still have the pit bulls. The dog in the picture MAULED a seven year old boy.
